What is an eSIM and does my phone support it?

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into most modern smartphones — no physical card to swap. Most iPhones from XS onwards, Samsung Galaxy S20+, Google Pixel 3+ and newer devices support eSIM. Check your phone settings under "Mobile Data" or "Cellular" to confirm.

How do I activate my eSIM?

After purchase you'll receive a QR code by email. Go to your phone settings, add a new mobile plan, and scan the QR code. The whole process takes under a minute. We recommend setting it up the day before you travel so you're ready on arrival.

Can I keep my regular phone number?

Yes. The eSIM runs as a second line alongside your existing SIM. You keep your home number for calls and texts, and the eSIM provides data in your destination country — no need to choose between them.

What happens when I run out of data?

You can top up with a new plan at any time through your account — no need to install a new eSIM. Your existing eSIM stays on your phone and the new plan activates instantly.

Which networks will I connect to?

Your eSIM connects to established local carrier networks in each country, giving you the same coverage and speeds as local users. The specific network depends on your destination.

Do I need to remove the eSIM after my trip?

No. You can leave the eSIM installed on your phone and reuse it next time you travel. Just purchase a new data plan for your destination and it activates on the same eSIM profile.
